On April 17, 2024, at 9:30 am, Br. Richard Htoo, together with Br. Andrew Zhu both were ordained to the priesthood and the diaconate respectively, by the Archbishop of Manila, Cardinal Jose Advincula, at Santuario del Santo Cristo parish.

Fr. Prior Provincial attended the Ordinations, together with Fr. Salas from Hongkong; Fr. Fausto and Fr. Paul from Macau. Different communities of Dominican family and the professors of the Br. Richard and Br. Andrew from UST, and some friends and parishioners witnessed the great and joyful celebration of the Ordinations. The Ordination was successful and beautiful.  After the Mass, lunch was followed on the rooftop of Aquinas School. We all thank God for the gift of calling to the ministerial service to the Church which the two brothers responded generously.
