These two last days the capitulars have been dedicated to work by commissions.  Yesterday, july 16, They had a general assembly to put in common the most important ideas on cooperate brothers. There are suggestions concerning the name to be used: brothers for all; ordained brothers and non-ordained brothers; religious brothers; priest brothers and religious brothers. It seems that it is difficult to adopt one in particular because when they are translated into different languages it is not easy to find the correct terminology. On the other hand, the Fundamental Constitution n. VI would have to be changed or make a technical change to embrace the new terminology. For sure there will be a long discussion about it. The commissions will be asked to present a general report on the progress of their work today and tomorrow.

The Dominican nuns of the Holy Spirit and Holy Mary monasteries traveled at least 6 km to share Vespers with the Capitulars and to meet the new Master of the Order. One of the nuns shared a reflection after the brief reading. She preached about the need for sincerity as a genuine affection.

In the other hand, Fr. Bruno Cadoré, OP, previous Master of the Order, received a message from Pope Francis where he thanked him for all the work done during these last 9 years of services to the Church in the Order of Preachers. Likewise, His Holinees blessed and thanked Fr. Gerard Timoner, OP., Master of the Order for accepting the position, to join in prayer for the new Master, and also entrusting himself to his prayer.
